WORLD'S TALLEST STATUE

World's Tallest Statue.

The Spring Temple Buddha(China) is the largest statue in the world. The total height of the monument is 153 meter (502 ft) including a 20 meter (66 ft) lotus throne and a 25 meter (82 ft) building. Construction of the Spring Temple Buddha was planned soon after the Bamiyan Buddhas were blown up by the Taliban in Afghanistan. The statue was finished in 2008 and depicts Vairocana Buddha.
